Description: Lady Cowdray stands with helpers beside the highly decorated statue of Florence Nightingale in Waterloo Place, selling flags for the fund.The ship is not clearly seen as a whole. A sailor finishes placing the tompion back in the mouth of one of the ship's guns. One sailor shows how to climb up one of the davits. The ship's semaphore arm in action.The pageant is on behalf of the Streatham War Hospital Supply Depot and is held at the town hall. The children in fancy dress for the pageant arrive by charabanc. Then a long shot as Queen Alexandra (not clearly visible) arrives and enters the town hall.Lord Wimborne resigned (over the Easter Rising) on the day the newsreel was issued. The film shows an earlier occasion of him inspecting the guard of honour at the Viceregal Lodge in Dublin.
